Biography: I
am fifty years old, and although I was born in the United Kingdom I
was educated in southern and central Africa, only returning to England
to start my degree at Newcastle University. I am married with three
children and I own and run a steel fabrication and machining engineering
works in Washington where we produce some 54000 components per month
for a diverse range of local companies. The company was founded in 1981.
I have a BA Hon in history and an MA in international relations. As
regards my interests these include local and national politics, public
speaking, reading modern history and freelance cartooning.
